Services Performed:
Provided structural design and analysis, enhanced excursion analysis, and manufacturing support for development of the visual upgrade structure and projector platform access stairs.

Structural Analysis:

• Generated system-level finite element model
• Performed quasi-static analysis for body acceleration and gravity loading
• Performed buckling analysis and deflection study
• Provided global and detailed stress analysis including weld and mechanical joints
• Evaluated and resolved resonance issues on the P-3C in HI
• Upgraded simulator from static to CAE electronic motion base

Engineering Design:

• Provided detailed design of the visual upgrade support structure and projector platform access stairs
• Designed reinforcements and ongoing modifications to the structure
• Generated an enhanced motion excursion analysis evaluation
• Provided manufacturing support
• Performed site surveys of the motion platforms and IOS frames in HI, FL, and ME
