Services Performed:
Provided reinforcement design and analysis for development of the 25m span 3-petal dome system

Structural Analysis:

• Generated a finite element model of the system including the compression ring and columns, basket structure and petals
• Performed quasi-static analysis for gravity loading
• Performed buckling analysis and deflection study
• Provided global and detailed stress analysis including weld and mechanical joints
• Complied with the Uniform Building Code and Eurocodes 3 & 9

Engineering Design:

• Designed reinforcements as required by analysis
