Develop the MH-47G Projector Support System

Customer:
Christie Digital Systems, Inc. (end user Aegis Technologies)

Services Performed:
Design, analysis, and manufacturing support for development of a the MH-47G projector support system (PSS) structure redesign.

Structural Analysis:

• Generated detailed Finite Element (FE) Model of the re-designed components on the full system
• Performed deflection checks, modal, detailed static stress, and buckling analyses
• Detailed analysis of the PSS Structure

Engineering Design:

• Developed new designs for complex components while reusing less complex, non-structural components
• Evaluated pros and cons of each design considering strength, cost, manufacturability, and reliability
• Generated component and installation drawings for the redesigned components including the main attachment plates, electronics rack, access steps, and exhaust fans
• Supported weekly teleconferences with Christie Digital and AEgis Technologies
