Development of the A2100 Antenna Range L-Frame Fixture

Services Performed:
Provided design, analysis, fabrication, and first use supervision of the L-frame fixture.

Structural Analysis:

• Generated a system level finite element model including the:
  • L-frame
  • proof load fixtures
  • miscellaneous components required for operation
• Performed sttuctural analysis of components for all anticipated loading environments
• Generated the Fundamental Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FFMEA)

Engineering Design:

• Designed the L-frame and proof load fixture including the design of the lift beam, transport pallets and storage box
• Coordinated the fabrication and assembly of the L-Frame
• Managed all manufacturing vendors to ensure meeting the delivery schedule
• Supervised acceptance and first use qualification testing at the Lockheed Martin facility in Newtown, PA
