• Performed the qualification stress analysis of the ORU (Orbital Replacement Unit) Carriers for STS-123
and STS-125 missions
• Assessment of the primary, secondary and keel trunnions and their attachement hardware and all
standard and non-standard payload interface hard points.
• Evaluated several adapter structures that are used to facilitiate use of standard hard points, as well
as honeycomb panels (for damage), handrails and grappling points.
• Thermal, fracture, and fail-safe analyses
• Wrote the final analysis reports, which were approved by OSC and NASA |
